At the request of my neighbor, I was asked to block off my wireless as his ex wife and his children are leeching and doing some unsavory things... I have a Linksys Wireless - G router. My question is, do i need the original discs to reset the properties, ect or is there a way w/o doing that. My last router (belkins?) auto popped up this option the first time i plugged it in. Any help is apperciated.

An easier route might be to
1. Add a password
2. Enable MAC address filtering for only those in your household
3. Disable Broadcasting your SSID

Those are your basic items to secure your wireless LAN

i just figured it all out and its now fixed! :) I didn't realize that none of our computers are using wireless anymore and that the ones showing up on my MAC list were my neighbors.

Might as well turn it off at that point. WEP is too easily broken nowadays, WPA is quickly becoming the new standard for wireless security.
