Pyratt XO Rum

This is the second bottle I have bought of the Pyratt XO Rum. A very dry style of rum that is blended from rums aged 5 years-40 years. It tastes decent, if you can get by the nose on this rum. Have you ever expierienced the barnyard effect of some cigars? Well this is the barnyard nose for rums!
If you like Zacappa or Zaya, then do not try this one. You will be disappointed. If you like Matusalem, then you will probably like this one. If you like Cruzan Single Barrel, than this may be ok by your book. I drink t with 5 pieces of ice, and prefer half of the ice to be melted prior to sipping it...

I do like it, somewhat. But this bottle will last me for a long time. LOL Something I have to be in the mood for.

Zacapa is a bit "sweeter" to my taste buds, than the Pyrat XO. The Pyrat pistol is more along the lines of the Zacapa. The Pyrat Cask 23 is the bomb!
