Redskins game predict presidential election outcome

It is fact that since 1936 the Washington Redskins last home game, prior to election day, has predicted the outcome of the election.

If the Redskins win their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party wins, if they lose the incumbent party loses.

Now this means that when the Steelers thump the Redskins tonight that the Democrats will win the election?

It is impossible for me to root against the Steelers so I guess it boils down to..........

PLEASE GOD........HAVE MERCY ON US AS A COUNTRY AND BREAK THIS TRADITION!

So all the candidates had to do was pour the millions of dollars spent on the election into either the Steelers or the Redskins?
