She was always fun to watch, and had a great TV personality. I want to think she was just as cool in person as she was on TV.

Damn. How did she die?
The latest I have read is they got a call for unresponsive person in cardiac arrest at like 730 am. Paramedics called it on the scene (DRT).

You never know with these things and celebrities so trying to think positive if you want to call it that. Those chefs can be a flaky bunch ie Anthony Bourdain. Married with step kids I think so Id be surprised if its something sketchy. There would have been earlier stories of troubles like Matthew Perry. You cant hide that stuff anymore in todays world.

I knew a guy who fell out dead at 50. Wife left to go get dinner from the local fire house fundraiser and came home and he was dead on the floor. Nothing could be done.

(DRT) - I was a medic for over 27 years and I had to look that one up.

Must be a regional acronym, never heard of that in NYC, and it doesn't appear in remsco protocols. We use DOA.
