He worked at the arcade I used to play ITG2 (In The Groove Two) at, such a nice guy. Dancing game, Stepmania based, video of me playing Stepmania for anyone who cares (keyboard there, not pad). ANYWAYS... I just heard tonight that he died, my friend that told me has no idea how he died, we're trying to figure it out. I knew him for a good four years or so. He was a great guy, every Friday back in ninth grade (four years ago...) I'd be at that arcade, five-nine PM, playing ITG2 until I could barely walk. Every few weeks he'd make a comment on my progress compared to x amount of weeks ago, occasionally he'd play. He'd play on medium, I usually played on expert(11s, 12s, he played fives and sixes). Such a nice guy, I really wish he were still here.

This is me playing on keyboard, but pad is very similar, just not quite as crazy. RIP.

I'm really not trying to be a dick but why did you post this? I don't think anybody but you sort of knew this man? Is this just to show your video of you playing a dance game with a key pad?

I'm edgy today because a friend and co-worker of mine (Westlake not Outlaw) died this morning. He had cancer. He was only 20.

I didn't feel that I needed to post anything here about it because he wasn't part of this community.

P.S. Your grammar is terrible.

The point of the video isn't to say "Hey I play dancing games," it was to clear up any confusion about what I was talking about in terms of what it was we often spent our time doing. My friend died, and I'm not feeling too good about it, just had to tell someone.

I'm sorry, but I'm missing something here. Your post (and its ever rambling sentences) didn't convey that he was anyone more to you than someone who worked at an arcade you frequented 4 years ago. I'm sorry for your loss of such a dear friend.I'm not trying to trivialize the loss of this mans life. I would never share my grief with a group of people that I joined little more than a month ago. Especially when he wasn't part of this community. Sympathy is not something that I would expect from strangers. The strangers being this forum and this man.

Pandering for sympathy from others so you can show a clip of you playing a video games seems pretty silly. I'm going to drop this and hope I'm wrong.

It sucks when people you know die. It's worse when you are close to them.

That's not at all what I was trying to do, I'm just in a bit of a state of shock that my dear friend isn't here anymore, and the point of the video was to show what it was we did together, I suppose I put it together badly, the post was made with a very tired mind, so it wasn't worded well at all.

Yea Connor don't sweat it. Remember when you put something up on a forum you need to be ready for good and bad responses no matter the nature of the post. I'm sure you and your friend had some great times together!

I'm sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

Paul
