Knowing how good all of the smoking equipment is, I would like to know if anyone has had these cigars? JR has a 50% discount off list deal, but if they are not good there is no reason to consider it a deal.

If it's an Extend they are great lighters. Not sure about any of the other models.
I believe golfgar is talking about the cigars made by DuPont.

Never had one. I'd imagine they'd be decent.

Sorry, the English was pretty poor, and thanks phishy, I was asking about the cigars. The original post has been edited accordingly.

OH, duh! Sorry about that.

I've heard the cigars are very good but haven't had one myself. I know there are a few guys that really like 'em.

I havent had one and havent really heard too much about them. Didnt want to get a whole box without trying one or two

gamelover sent me one with the PIF. I haven't smoked it yet but you could probably ask him how they are.

Rumor had it that ST Duponts made for overseas market had a blend of Canary Island and Cuban leaf. I was sent a few and could not detect any Cuban leaf. They were typical mild and somewhat sour Canary Island blends, similar to the Dunhills made with C.I. tobacco. The construction was impeccable though. If you enojy some of the milder Davidoffs, you may like the Duponts, but the price is usually higher than they are worth, IMHO.
