I just got this listing a sake tasting. Thought some of you might be able to make it.

I would totally be there if it was closer. I love sake.

I'd be there too if I didn't have other plans :( 2 days notice just isn't enough time.

Hazaa!

That's my freakin' neighborhood liquor store - I live exactly one block north of there...!

I'm planning on swinging in for a bit - drink a few for y'all...

You'll love it all.... Soju is my favorite. Be sure to ask him if he has Makoli (Mah-Koh-Lee) as well. Sake is good and plum wine is decent (just not my thing, usually). If you want to be different, inquire about Awamori as well (it's an Okinawan version of Sake.... but different enough to warrent distinction.)

I'd go if I weren't in MI and attending an DE Cigar Tasting here in Detroit.

Love them oriantal liquors....

Moki and I had a wonderful Sake called Summer Snow this past week. Very good. Unfiltered and unpasturized. Stuff settled to the bottom and made the bottle look like a snow globe.

Never heard of that one, it sounds interesting. Any more info on it as I can't find anything under "Summer Snow"?
