Thanks for the kind wishes. I really appreciate them. I'm not usually one to 'show off' but I can't help but be excited by the present that my folks got for me. Seeing that it is my 30th birthday they commisioned my Uncle , who is a still life artist of some note, to paint a picture for me. The items in it are all mine, including my prize Longines watch, brandy glass, ashtray and Mulligan meets Monk CD. The title of the painting is 'Round Midnight.
It looks amazing although my dodgy photography skills do not nearly do it justice.
