Today is the second day of San Jose Buddhist Church Obon Festival. Activites include food booths, game booths, Japanese story telling, bingo, San Jose Taiko drum performance, the Chidori Band performance and ending the day with Obon Odori, or folk dancing. The Obon Odori is a beautiful event with most everyone dressed in traditional wear, it's a big family tradion for our family and friends to dance in the event every year. Here's a picture of the ladies from a couple of years ago.
