Today I was riding in my friends car listening to the radio, which I don't really get a chance to do much, since I'm not a fan of the newer music groups release these days, and I heard a song that really hit me hard. I went home, researched it and found out that the lead singer of Seether's younger brother committed suicide, and this song is dedicated to him. This song made me stop and think about the people I've lost in my life, including my older brother who passed away almost 10 years ago.

This song is for everyone who's lost someone very important along the way ...

The song, IIRC, was written before his brother died. The plan was to get it through post production and on the album before they played it for him.

Or, I think that was the story I heard on the raido one day. Either way, it is one of my favorite songs.
