Carl Ballantine, who was a unrelenting cigar smoker passed away yesterday at the fine old age of 92.
Those of you who watched McHale's Navy will remember him as Torpedoman's Mate Lester Gruber.
I also remember him as the magician "The Great Ballantine" who always pulled the rubber chicken instead of a rabbit out of a hat as a kid.
