Well due to several tragic instances in my life that best no be aired on the net I ended up with this for zero down and piddley shit for a payment, a Ninja ZX14. It either has 187 hp or 197 hp depending on whether it has ram air or not, I have no idea.

Really, I just went into the store to buy sunglasses!! Anyway, yesterday was the 1st day that I actually got to take it out. I live out in the desert where you can get lots of open fwy space. I wicked this thing to 140 around a curve and then wicked it to 170 on a staight away. Talk about a rush! Yee Haw MFer!! Oh that is the kind of therapy this old biker needs. I know that I am a Harley guy but I just want to haul ass NOW. I do not have the time, patience or $ to build another fast Harley. Besides, I never hit 170 on any of my Harleys, 140 maybe and that was really pushing it. This Ninja thing still had plenty of room to go but I felt the shit starting to creep out of my ass so I slowed down.

yeah, those things are fuggin powerfull as hell. A tank, but damn fast I'm sure. If you need any aftermarket goodies for it, be sure and let me know. I can save you big $$$$

Might want to come over here as well and say hello

I already bought Muzzy pipes, carbon fiber look. A 1 tooth smaller front sprocket. A fender hideaway kit, helibar risers and a steering dampner. Dont know if i'll need any more performance with all that but then we are talking about obsessive, compulsive, me.

I'll be safe, I have been riding for many years. Just never anything quite like this so I know to use respect and caution. But a wide open road is a wide open road!! :sign:

Nice.

130ish on my bagger was I'll I could get outta it....now a 'whisper-jet'.....meeeeee, like!

I had 120 on the VTX and thought I should not go for more, the pucker factor started kicking in. I'm assuming that 170 on that bad boy was still pretty smooth. Careful....and nice ride.

Enjoy that brother!

One of these is going to be my next toy...probably the one in the second pic the way things are looking now:

Although I'm steering the little wife to the point where she'll ENCOURAGE me to have this one. She's only quasi-receptive at this point...wish me luck brothers:

the bottom ducati is a fuggin beast. HUGE pricetag on it too.

Yep, it is....

The price isn't an issue...rather, it's getting the little wife on my side of the fence of it essentially becoming one of my many other mistresses (in addition boats, cars, cigars, fishing, golf, scotch, rum, etc.). :sign:
