Sad stuff. Stanislaw Lem died. For those of you who don't know (the vast majority probably) he was a great Polish Sience fiction writer. He actually wrote a vareity of different kinds of things. My favorite of his is Cyberiad. He also wrote Solaris. Some of you may have seen the kinda crappy version with George Clooney. Look for the original Russian movie by Tarkovsky. I probably shouldn't mention that as Lem hated the movie adaptation of his book.
