I was just curious as to the opinion of this cigar. I have not had a STL regios in about 4-5 years. As I remember, they were to the medium side, not full bodied like some ISOMs. I also seem to remember a kind of creamy, smooth taste on the palate. I'm reaching way back here, so I might be remembering the wrong cigar.

Can anyone give me a more recent experience? Just curious. Thanks.

One of my favorite brands but I like the Serie A much more than the Regios. SLR's are "citrus" and have a unique flavor which you either LOVE or don't like at all.

While I've never had an SLR PC (Mareva) I'd bet they're fantastic.

As Bill says they are a love 'em or hate 'em stick. I don't like 'em. Interesting because I love the DC, Churchill and PC. I've never had a Lonsdale or Corona but the Serie A and Regios are just far to citrusy for my tastes. I've now had several of each spanning from '99 - '03 with similar results. They don't seem to age well at all.
