I'll be in Costa Rica 7/8-7/24 and in Las Vegas 6/24-7/1. If anyone is going to either place let me know and we'll light up, gamble, and drink ourselves silly. BTW, I'll need some hints on traveling with my cheapies. Vegas being dry as hell, I don't want to smoke some dry sticks. Any advice is appreciated.

Sounds great. So you think the travel humi will hold the humidity pretty well in vegas?

Also, have you (or anyone else) tried JR's 1' o'clock madness? Legit deals or no?

They are actually travel humidifiers, just top the off with a little D-water pop them in a ziplock with your smokes and your all set

Never visited the JR sale myself, but I know a few of the guys have and have made out like bandits :thumbs:

The 1 O'Clock madness is very legit. But you have to be fast, most sales last 4-6 minutes tops. I've bit on the first one, Excalibur #1 maduros - $49.95.

They have had CAO, CAO Pirahnas, H.Upmann and others that I can't remember.

Oh by the way Dan I was in Vegas in March and had my trusty Sherman travel humidor. Cigars were fine. :thumbs:

Are there any casinos/bars that are particularly cigar friendly?

You know, it use to be that the ballparks/golf courses/bars/casinos were safe havens for cigar smokers...

How sad is today's situation?

They are all cigar-friendly. A few of the casinos have sections for non-smokers, but you have to look really hard for them!

It was great spending an entire week smoking cigars and not have ONE person give me a dirty look or say something to me about not liking my cigar smoking.
