Sun Valley

Sounds like a nice getaway Ree. I've never been up there but I hear it's beautiful country. Let us know how it goes! :)

Fly fishing at sunrise, then to the links until mid afternoon, then some rafting, then some more flythrowing until dark...Nice daily schedule.

Hey Ree, you are in for a treat.

Very nice place to play, tho I've never been there in the summer. Just in the winter, during ski season.

If you make it down to Boise, gimme a holler.

Its roughly 150 miles. Not the prettiest drive until you get up near Ketchum and Hailey area. I was just up there about a month ago for the first time. I am native to Boise, but that was the first time I had gone up there. It is world class for fishing and rafting. I saw the links while I was there and they aren't bad, though not the best in the area. You should have a good time, provided you have good sticks with ya!!

I was being less than conservative...

Mapquest says the trip from Boise to Sun Valley is 158.5 miles and should take you 3 hours and 33 minutes! But Mapquest is typically at the speed limit, so I shaved off a half hour.

Ree, you've probably already scoped it out, but here's a decent link for the Sun Valley area.
