Purchased 2 of these yesterday in Nashville. While the kids are chasing snakes in the yard I sat down on the patio to enjoy this rustic looking churchill. These sticks won't win any beauty contests.
Snipped a small bit off the cap,lit up and prepared to enjoy.
First off,I got some very subtle floral hints, but these were replaced by leather overtones. And while the exterior was rough,it certainly did not effect the burn a bit.
As it was/is a windy day here in the bluegrass, I did experience one burn problem attributed to the weather rather than the construction.Draw was very good. But my real suprise was about to come. I burned this stick down to about 3/4 of an inch and set it down to allow it burn out. I then got up to my sons something drink. Whoa nelly. This thing is a lot more powerful than it seems. I've really enjoyed this line of cigars, both the brown and now the red labels.
All in all, a reasonably priced smoke.
