When I first started smokeing cigars some 13+ years ago, I almost always chose a larger ring guage cigar. I have smoked just about every size cigar out there. Well get to the point Mark...LOL

As most of you know this is a Nicaraguan puro. The pre light once over on this beauty was perfect. Although a bit bumpy, it was packed well with no soft spots. After clipping a cigar I do a test draw. I would say it was close to perfect. Not real easy to draw, nor to firm of a draw. Very spicy with a lip tingle.
After getting it lit, I sat back and just enjoyed. Spicy for about the first inch or so. Hints of cedar and leathery notes. I could also taste some coffee overtones. Maybe a bit of cocca. It was very consistant on strength. It stared out strong, but turned into a balanced full bodied cigar, losing the very spicy start. If it stayed that spicy through the whole cigar, I doubt I could have finished it.
It burned precision, but you have to keep Tatuaje in the 'dor at about 60-63% humidity.
I know these are good now, but I want to see what happens to these with some age. I have a feeling that these are gonna rock after some time in the humi!
