of Gangland control of the city of Chicago happened today when the St. Valentine's Day Massacre took place in a Chicago garage as seven rivals of Al Capone's gang were gunned down.

Actually - it was a sad day in Chicago when they dismantled the garage where the massacre took place, and carted it away to the dump. Such a defining moment - such an unceremonious end.
