Humble Arrogance
May 2023 will be my 2 year anniversary of legitimately participating in the cigar community.
I dove headfirst into things with an insatiable appetite for history and tradition, different flavors and vitolas, and collecting certain lines, companies, and limited editions.
Since then I’ve learned what I like, what is just glitter, and what rare/limited smokes I truly want to get my hands on.
I figured I’d share some of my favorites that I’ve put time and energy into over the past year and a half curating as part of my personal collection.
Part One:
Davidoff Winston Churchill 2019 LE
Long story short, I searched for these for over a year. Came up with nothing, until a good friend discovered a shop in Naples, FL with 4 left on the shelf! It was a brilliant find and the owner was kind enough to ship. The 5th was a surprise from a Privada Club Member whom I received the box from.
Now they join the ‘21 and ‘22 limited cigars to complete my WC LE collection*. The ‘19 is also a superb smoke! An absolutely brilliant cigar that will no doubt continue to get better with age.
*I know they came out with the Raconteur in 2016, but it doesn’t follow the same design aesthetic, even if it technically is the first of the limited editions in the WC lineup.
