The History of Bourbon Whiskey

Read the article. Very interesting. If you ask the Irish they contend they taught the Scots how to make whiskey and visa vera with the Scots. It seems Shawhan was a mix of both, so the whiskey would have had to be good.

Side note...Followed the story to the McCormick distillery site and noticed they sell premium cigars at their country store for whatever that's worth.
