Cheekie
Yeah fuggers, I am still around!
Ah the turk...
God bless the wine jockey who recomended this one! Wooohoo. I remember telling him that if it was crappy, I would come back and beat him with the empty bottle, if front of my other half... He gave me this eerie smile which was a cross between " oh please do..." and " B!atch, you gonna love this one"
I got it home, first glass eh--- My patience level on waiting I guess, but glass two- oh hell!!!!
Even my other half was slightly amused!
My views :
Talk about blends eesh!!!
48% Shiraz, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Grenache, and 6% Mourvedre, try to say that 10 times fast!
The aromatics on this one are nearly orgasmic. Once it opens up it is hella good, with hints of oak, cherries ( characteristic of shiraz ) and the warm yummy goodness of Cab-
Turkey Flat did good on this one with the typical Barrosa style earthiness and still a slight complexity.
Price wise it is a GREAT VALUE--
Next time I see it I am stocking up
