This is very odd.

Looks like a programming ooops to me. The point appears moot. This feeding frenzy should take most over $20 anyhow.
 
Wierd stuff ws happening last week too. I put in a bid less than what others were winning at, and it accepted mine for a lower cost. Then I was winning 2 boxes, then later one of them disappeared, with no new bids. Good luck. They have definitely been haveing some strange glitches.
