However, regardless of the "deal" I would avoid Thompsons like the plague. When I was a really green newb I ordered a humidor and cigars from them. I had to return the entire lot because the cigars sucked and were dry as hell and they misrepresented the features of the humidor. On a side note my letters of complaint got them to change the description of the humidor in their catalogs.

Stay away.

No deal is so good to have to put up with poor quality and poor service.

Too many other great vendors out there to have to deal with Thompsons.

I'll reiterate what Doc and the others have already said....Thompsons is a place to stay away from, don't waste your $$$$.

I managed to avoid the shots, but I sure stepped into a pile of Thompson's.
