Never frozen a smoke. Never had a problem. But, to be fair, my cabinet is cooled and never goes over 70F.

You hit it there. If you keep the sticks around 68-70 degrees and 65-70% RH, it should be fine.

Unless you have access to a commercial freezer that goes to at least -40F, you're wasting your time. I was told this by a biology teacher. I tend to believe him.
