Cigar Family "Toast Across America"
To benefit the cigar family charitable foundation

Thursday, October 7, 2004

Over 5,000 enthusiasts, representing all 50 states, will raise their cigars to toast the people of the Dominican Republic who have worked so hard to provide us with the best cigars in the world.

Where did you get the info? I don't see anything on cigarfamily. Is there a list of locations and how to get tickets somewhere?

I just called my local shop, only one in Oklahoma participating. It's first come/first serve, first 50 people. They are charging $75 per ticket, $50 of which goes to the Fuente Cigar Family Charity and $25 goes for all the food/drink you can hold. The toast across america cigars you'll get are 1 unreleased Opus X and 1 Diamond Crown Maximus, I'm assuming like the ones from last year. This year it's also at the store owners house, I'm guessing they don't want 50 people smoking in the shop at the same time :p They are also going to be selling Fuente lines during the gathering. Just some FYI for those Okies that were/are interested. If so, contact Fogue & Bates, 918-488-0818  This will be my first year to go, so hopefully I'll have a good time.

The 2 cigars will be an Opus X and Maximus 7x48 figurado.

Is it just me, or should fuente really get their act together? Where is an official announcement, where is an official participant list?

I agree. I had to look on last years list and call the shop. You might want to do this, but I'm sure you're figured that out already :p
