I was really anticipating this show. I couldn't wait to watch 16 guys & gal go head to head in this competition. I turned it on today, and it is just another stupid reality show!

Is anyone else as disappointed as me? I mean everyone didn't even get to shot, and one of them might get the title of Top Shot.

I really thought it was going to be 16 competitors shooting every weapon in the competition.

At least the gentleman that messed it up for his team was the 1st to go out.

Haven't seen it yet but I have to admit I had high hopes.......

Just watched the first episode on my DVR. I think the premise is great but the way they set it up is lame. I can't believe the History channel has stooped to tactics of a MTV/Survivor style show. At least they didn't do the stupid long pauses at key moments like most of those shows.

I'll probably watch it and fast forward through the dumb drama parts. The guns in the first episode were great. I was hoping they would use some old sniper rifles. Hopefully they bring out some newer higher caliber sniper rifles in future shows.

I found it a struggle to watch to the end. As for the "reality" show style of it at the end, I found that to be the only entertaining part.

The part I don't understand is why they all don't get to go head to head on the same targets. I guess its something to do with their "specialtys" or whatever, but I think that would make it much more interesting.

I turned it off after the first round was such a laugh. They advertised they would have "Top Shots" and these guys were pretty bad. How about that first set where the shooter missed over thirty times and never hit from 100 yards?!?

I figured the rest would be reality show type crap as it already had some of that format so click ...

Yeah, I was really expecting aces. There is no reason to miss a shot over 30 times if you are supposed to be one of the top 16 shots in the world. The show really lost me. I was really hoping to watch a marksmanship show. :(

I agree, its almost like watching the Next Food Network Star instead of Top Chef Masters.
