but I was just checking out the gurkha legend anniversario torpedos and I've only seen a couple cigars shaped like that. Anyway my question is do you clip the foot? If you do how much should you clip?

Jeffro600 said:I believe what shape your refering too is called a perfecto...a torpedo is usually shaped like a regular cigar but has a pointed cap where as the perfecto is pointed at both ends. Some clip the foot of a perfecto, some dont...its up to you really. I usually clip mine as their easier to light and keep lit while first starting out. Wont hurt anything by not clipping it however.

...same here. Never had a Ghurka but plenty of WOA's, Short Stories, Hemi's, etc. Never had an issue.stevehawk said:I don't clip the foot and (for the most part) have not had lighting or bad burn issues. This goes for WOA, Short Stories, and other similar-shaped cigars as well. Light 'em up as is and enjoy!

I think it's a combination of "educate" and "etiquette"...
