Anybody go by the name "JR" on this site? I got 3 montecristo's in the mail today, but have no idea who this is, or what they're about. Was wondering if somebody on here sent them to me, but I don't think I ever posted my address, not completely sure though. Kind of odd to just get 3 cigars in the mail... not that I'm complaining! heh
 
I dunno who JR is but it sounds like you got bombed by a BOTL. It's a fairly common phenomenon here.

Sounds like to me that you signed up for the Montecristo Platinum deal a while ago and they just came through...maybe?
 
Not sure, they're Monte's with a silver band, says vintage 1999 beneath that.

What's the montecristo platinum deal? I don't remember signing up for anything, but perhaps I did. Hmmmm... maybe a LONG time ago I did, sure can't remember though.
 
You know, I remember signing up for that back in like October or something. I'll have to go back and check my CC charges because I have yet to recieve those cigars. If I remember correctly, it was the silver banded Monte's that were in that special.
 
That sounds like the Monte deal alright. That means I should be seeing mine sometime soon. niiiiice.
