Although I typically enjoy Uncrate for its wide variety of nifty gadgetry, the smoking section is a bit on the comical side. Don't get me wrong, there are some neat picks on the list but some of the selections just make me giggle.

The 1940's Hoyo de Monterrey Pre-Embargo Panetelas (50) for $3,125.00 look like a good deal....I wonder what shipping would cost?

That could 'make-it-or-break-it' for me :whistling:

A GB at $62.50 a stick?

"Acid One Cigars

Although popular society seems to be fighting the “Quit Smoking” battle harder than ever, we still enjoy a good cigar ‘round the office now and then. When we do smoke, we make sure it’s something worthy of our lung tissue, such as Acid One Cigars ($130/box of 24). Cured in red wines from around the world, the One features a balanced bouquet that is truly a pleasure, especially when paired with a good scotch or a glass of burgundy."

I think they're doing it wrong.

That's actually me and I am just shaving my hairy wrists.

Wouldn't 68 year old cigars taste like hot air and stale socks?

Depends largely on their original blend, and how they've been kept, I think.

I've smoked a couple of cigars from that time frame that were quite enjoyable in subtle ways.
