We've had some challenging days recently as my father passed away Saturday. Baseball season will never be the same for me.
I've taken some time off and, on the plus side, took the two youngest to the movies the last two days. My son for the first time ever will finally sit through a movie so we can all enjoy it together. Although I think it may be more about popcorn and candy for him than watching the actual show. Tickets to Soongbob were $3 and the minions today was half off matinee prices , so for all 6 tickets I think we spent only $32, but on Friday night just one ticket would be $27!!!!!!! We won't speak of the refreshment bill.
And my oldest who has been away at summer camp for two weeks will be returning soon. My wife and I have missed her more than I think we thought we would. It's the first time one of them has been gone more than a couple of days.
Unfortunately, I will have to decide when to tell her about her grandfather. She is the kindest of her siblings, so I am sure it will hit her hard.
