Update to earlier post of Buyer Beware

Today I received an email from that merchant addressed to anyone who had a less that positive experience with him. In the email he made the effort to apologize for the "concerns and inconvenience". And while the grammatical content of the email suggests that he hurried through the exercise of contacting his customer base, it is apparent that he is sincere in wanting to rectify matters between himself and his customers. He asserts that he will make good on all orders within the week and promises that any refunds will be honoured as well.

I must say that it takes a lot to acknowledge the mistakes that one makes, especially when it involves conducting business via the Internet in a less than stellar manner. His mia culpa includes an open invitation for anyone who had/has issues with him to contact him directly, even if it means taking verbal abuse at his expense.

While I have had positive experiences with this gentleman, my last purchase experience was such that I found my may to another retailer. I will say that I will continue to browse his offerings and I may be inclined to try him again, but it will be with my eyes wide open and most certainly, it will not involve any purchases of higher end cigars.

I felt that it was important to share this update with everyone here. It seemed only right given the caveat that I posted previously.
