I felt exactly like you described my first real encounter with a VSG and I did not ever want to try another. You have given me new hope in the line. I was at a B&M in Savannah today that had VSGs in stock. I noticed that the wrappers were a very different color than those that I had (that you are now stuck with - hopefully Ashton will make right - if not send back to me and I will make it right).
Your review was exceptional. I will go pick up a VSG to smoke tomorrow. The local shop does not have any robustos - which other vitola do you recommend? They have Torpedo, Corona Gorda, Enchantment, Sorcerer, and Tres Mystique. Are any of these as close to your personal taste as a good VSG robusto? I understand that each vitola has somewhat of a different flavor.
