So I was invited to a free wine tasting this evening by a friend of mine. When I heard "free wine" I absolutely said yes. Got down to the resturant and sampled a nice selection. We started with some whites, so I didn't pay to much attention since I am not a real fan of them. Soon we moved on to reds. Enjoyed some Norman Pinot, Sebastiani and a few others. My favorite part is when the broke out some port. Nothing special, just Fonseca Bin 27 and some Fladgate 10, but it complimented my FFOX #5 very well. All in all a good time.

Sounds like a great time! I of course would have sampled some white wines.
Port sounds great! Last time I drank Fonseca Bin 27, I had a nasty headache the next morning, so watch out.

When I lived out in Sonoma a few years back, my number one hobby was wine tasting. :love:
Actually, I still love wine tasting however in Illinois, I don't have quite the same variety and quality as I once did.
