Well I'll be out to the left coast for some business. I arrive the evening of April 26 and leave out on the 28th. I'm staying at the Hilton in Glendale. If any of you left coasters are close to this I'd like to meet you for a smoke and drink.

Nice hotel, you'll like it. Used to be a Red Lion. I've gone drinking at their roof-top bar several times. Unfortunately they raised their prices dramatically (around $6 for a domestic beer).

Glendale is only 20 min from me, maybe we can get together.

Sounds good to me... I should be around. Now if I can find Chewbacco and get him in on it too! :laugh:



edited to say: Glendale isn't too far for me and I'm always up for a mini herf!

So tonight is a miniHERF at Schatzi's on Main (Arnold's restaurant) in Santa Monica. The current list of attendees is:

Chewbacco
Rod
Seadub

Should be a lot of fun! And I'm looking forward to Tone-NYs visit at the end of the month. If any of you other guys ever head out here to LA be sure to give a shout. It's always good to meet fellow CPers.

How does the 27th sound, thursday evening? The Glendale Hilton has a pretty nice roof-top bar. You can smoke outside on the roof/patio. Been there several times.

Hopefully we can get some other guys to come out too (seadub, chewbacco) ;)

Ok here is an update, I'm scheduled to get in around 7:00 PM local time on Wednesday and should be settled in the hotel by 8:30-9:00 if anyone is available for a late dinner that would work for me. I'll make sure that I am available for Thursday evening for our herf/dinner/drinks! Let me know if you are available and I'll PM you my cell number.

Weather report for Thursday says "few showers" for Glendale, so not sure if we'll be in the clear (if outside).

The bar at the Glendale Hilton is pretty nice, however drinks are a bit over priced. I've eaten there before and it wasn't bad.

Not sure if you guys are planning on grabbing dinner first, either way I can meet up with everyone around 7:30/8:00pm.

Looking forward to the herf! :)

I guess I was confused...thought this thing was happenning this Saturday.

Might not be able to make it...my cousin is visiting that night...might need to spend some time with her.

Sorry tone-ny...I'll see what I can do.
