What is your Resolution set to?

i have a laptop so if its in my room in the docking station i have it at 800x600 because the way i sit my face is about 4 feet from the screen. if i take it somewhere in the house like right now where i am up close to the screen i use 1024 x 780.

I will have to get a new monitor, mine is an old one, can't get better than 800x600

Could be the video card as well. Sometimes if you buy a decent video card your monitor will work just fine at higher resolutions.
