What SMOKING music are you listening to? (2025)

I just have a feeling Ray Dorsett would be a cool person to sit and bullshit about music with for an hour or two. From all accounts I've read, he's a really approachable guy and generous with his time.

Susanna may or may not have recorded this completely naked in the sound booth. Different people have said different things at different times. Mein Gott... she is adorable.

 
Tracy wasn't even supposed to perform this song -- Stevie Wonder had a technical issue with his set and couldn't play, so Chapman was asked to fill in and sing a few more songs. This was the performance that truly broke Tracy Chapman as a superstar; she went from selling tens of thousands to millions within a week.
