Where are you from, and how did you get here?

I thought it would be cool to find out a little bit about brothers and sisters here.

Where/how did you grow up? And how did you come to be here?

I grew up for the first 14 years in a town of <700 in rural Iowa. 14-present (excluding education), a town of ~10k in rural Iowa. I ended up here because my Dad smoked cigars (Dunhill blue label, now Ashton classic) my whole life, so I followed in his footsteps, but went much further into the hobby than he did.

Looking at my join date, it looks like I signed up about a year after getting done with school; I had gone about as far as I could on my own with the limited resources available to me in person and was looking for a place to learn.

Maybe I should've kept looking?
