I stopped by the local shop a couple days ago to get some cedar for my ammo can humi and of course, to check out a new cigar or two. 
While talking to the shop owner about my ammo can humi, he remarked that I had better be careful where I keep it. Curious, I inquired why.
Turns out one of the police officers who comes in is a member of the SWAT team. He keeps his cigars in an ammo can at the station. A couple years ago, they get called out and in the process of gathering the gear, his ammocanidor got tossed in with everything else.
At the scene, one of the guys runs to get a can of ammo and brings over the smokes instead. I guess all activity stopped while most of the SWAT team took a cigar break. If that were not bad enough, someone saw all the smoke coming from where they were in and alerted the fire dept. Guess the fire crew all got a cigar as well when they showed up.
Poor guy lost most of his stash to his buddies.
Guess the moral of the story is to be careful where you store your stogies, for you may find more friends than you knew you ever had.
Oh and the incident was resolved without the need of the SWAT guys.
