If you were about to say somewhere other than Hillbilly Steaks, that's probably because you haven't tried them. I was doing a cigars for jerky trade with him when I was passing through town this afternoon. I came just at the right time because there were a few racks of ribs on the smoker. After we had a cigar and a couple beers, they were ready and he offered me some. They were best ribs I've ever eaten. Erick said he just perfected his BBQ rub, and boy was he right. I only wish I hadn't eaten a couple hours before I got there. Now all I need is a smoker in the backyard and a few years of testing to perfect my own BBQ recipe. :whistling:

Thanks brad! They were pretty tasty huh? It was great meeting you and I appreciate the trade. Now just work it out so you can be here next sunday for superbowl! Then we'll really eat.

Here are some BBQ Porn pics...these are the ribs from last night

well folks, i decided to BBQ last night, and make baby back ribs. i didnt have a recipe, so went to Hillbillies site. I used the heavy duty foil method, but raised the temp to 300 F, for 1.5 Hr in the oven (used pinapple, onion, garlic cloves, paprika, chili powder, and 1.5 cups apple juice). then onto the grill, for some Dianna sauce, and all i can say is WOW!!! the ribs were melt in your mouth, perfect release from the bone .... deliciosioso!!!! :D

Hey hillbilly!! you sure can cook!

Awesome! Thanks man, I'm glad they turned out well for you.

I might have to add that comment to my site in the feed back area.

I've gotten lots of comments on stuff I"ve sent people, but not success stories from the BBQ Tips page!

Ribs are BY FAR my favorite food, can't wait to someday sample Hillbilly's!

Hilly billy I must say they look good. But I have been BBQing for 17 years I can not stand the taste of pork or beef ribs. I must say looking at yours look like has given me some hope again AT liking them again.I have been going catering for years now with a friend and man I can smell bbq miles away but your ribs look good I must say And I do not put that out. I am going to have to order some from you soon.

I'm not a real big Ribs fan but I must say reading your site I am watering at the mouth... Plus this would be a good time to show my so called BBQ neighbors I am better.. :) Of course I will have to give credit where credit is due. Thanks Hillbilly Steaks.
