Wine cooler weatherstripping

Have any of you guys had experience with weather stripping a wine cooler?
I recently bought a 150 bottle wine cooler, but noticed the top corner has a slight gap, so I want to seal it up.

Would weatherstripping work?

Not sure if this helps or not, but at my work, when the weather stripping on a helicopter is less than waterproof, we fill any voids with high quality black RTV. Works like a charm.
