Nobody in the south is allowed to tell us how cold it is up here. We are only allowed to complain amongst ourselves. As your punishment I am bringing the cold with me when I head to Tampa 12/14-12/22.

Nobody in the south is allowed to tell us how cold it is up here. We are only allowed to complain amongst ourselves. As your punishment I am bringing the cold with me when I head to Tampa 12/14-12/22.

Please bring me some cold air, (but if you do, it will hurt you). It is still so warm, I am running the air conditioner and riding the Harley in a T-Shirt.

That is one of the greatest trivia questions of all time! And I use it regularly. "If you're in Detroit, and head due south, what's the first country other than the US that you'll hit"? Nobody ever answers correctly.

In reading this thread I came up with a real poem on the cold.

I sat in my office
reading this thread
with thoughts of the cold
dancing in my head
I wondered why Southeners
Always bitch and complain
That the weather is cold
When all they get is rain
It's freezing up here
As I puff on my 'gar
And dredding the morning
When I have to shovel my car
It was 19 this morn
and Colder tonight
I just checked the net
No warm air in sight
So the next time you think
Its colder by you
Follow my advice
Heres what you do
Go on outside
Strip off your clothes
Lie down on the ground
And turn on the hose
Now the cold that you feel
On your now soaking hide
Is how cold it is here
With the heat on INSIDE!!
