Walmart has two brands of wireless hygrometers, the Acu-rite and "The weather channel" models. They are priced more or less the same, but any ideas on quality or accuracy of the humidity readings? One thing I liked a little more about the TWC model is that the wireless sensor is an oblong shape (think 2 cigars), rather than a relatively large square like the Acu-rite.

Just wanted to see if you guys (and gals) have had any experience with either brand.

Actually, after a little searching around on this forum, I think I may go with an Oregon Scientific. Probably the following model. It's actually a nice looking receiver I could place in the bedroom and use as an alarm clock as well.

EDIT - looks like I would have to purchase an additional sensor in order to take advantage of wireless humidity.
