At the urging of some CP folks, I sent an email off to Padrón containing the review I wrote of their Padrón Millennium Maduro:

...and they wrote back! They didn't offer to send me a box of every cigar they make or anything (darn) but it doesn't seem like a canned reply either. Kudos to them for that!

Dear Mr. Andrew Welch
El presidente
Ambrosia Software Inc.,
Thank you for your e-mail and for giving us your valuable feedback about our
product.
We are happy to read that you are enjoying your Padron Millenium Maduros and
that you are sharing your knowledge and experience with other cigar smokers
in the cigar forums.
As you may have read already, the tobacco used in the Padron Series is aged
for 2 1/2 years. The tobacco used in the 1964 Series is aged for 4 years
while the tobacco used in the 1926 Series is aged for 5 years. We take great
pride in our tobacco and how it is fermented, it is the key to achieving
complexity and balance in our blends. Our focus has always been on the
quality of our cigars and not the quantity that we produce.
From the inception of our company 38 years ago, our father Jose O. Padron
decided to build his brand by working to gain consumer loyalty and trust.
This is not easily achieved, it takes great commitment, patience and
consistency. Over the years there have been many like you who have put their
trust in us and our products. Please feel confident that we will not let you
down.
Please send us your mailing address so we may send you a company brochure
describing our family history, products and operations. If you ever have any
questions please feel free to send us an e-mail and remember to keep us
posted about your cigar forum.
Looking forward to having you as a customer for many years to come!
