Xikar hygrometer battery?!

Hey fellow BOTL. So I went to replace my Xikar hygrometer battery and purchased a few of the recommended LR44 button cell battery and low and behold, they are too big! I know nothing of battery sizes, what does fit the Xikar round hygrometer.

ROUND Hygrometer

• Older model with Red/ Green buttons: CR1225
• Newer model with Black buttons: G13-A and it will take AG13/ SR44/ LR44/ A76

 
Are you sure you are pressing it in hard enough?  I recently replaced mine, (not a Xikar), and I had to kind of manhandle it in to get it to work.

Yup, I used the LR44. I'd have to break the door to get it to fit in. 

edit: Screw it, I'm buying a new one haha.
