Lake Tahoe Cigar Company Holiday Blowout

WOuld you be willing to post YOUR prices on WOAMs and BTLs, or do we have to find a place selling them at or near MSRP and them have you beat or match them?
What are your normal prices?

Here's hoping for some snow, though!

If Fuente is nice enough to grace us with some this holiday season I will let the board know. I will repeat my previous disclaimer about the website...........ignore the prices posted there. The website is currently being rebuilt and the prices that are appearing there are the casino price for cigars.

It's odd everyone accepts being charged 3x msrp at casa fuente because it’s in Vegas but don’t like the prices of this casino shop...

No, what's odd is that he is selling average cigars for exactly msrp, and offering specials on crappy cigars for less than msrp. But at the same time charging 3X msrp on hard to find sticks.

I offered specials on product that I needed to move, just because you do not like the product that makes it crappy?!?

Yes. Yes it does, and the sooner you learn that I am the law and whatever I say makes it so the better. :sign:

Andy,

Remember, it's the BLUE pills in the morning and the RED pills before bed. :sign:

Smokelaw1's last question is valid. The answer would be of great interest to many of us I'm sure.

Hey gr8stag,

Thanks for posting up your sale, I'll be looking forward to some of your other offerings.

The fine folks at Fuente decide to bless me with any this year at all I will post them on the board. So now everyone has the answer to the question.

The first question requires a simple yes or no. The second one gets confusing. It requires an answer expressed in Dollars. As you can see, we don't take well to gougers here. Regardless. Seems kind of funny how there are 2 prices for the same product...although the only price we know of is the website price.

No. No one has an answer to the question because you didn't answer the actual question.

You were asked what your normal prices are. So to answer this question what you need to do is play pretend. My 3 year old can help you if you don't understand how the game works. Let's pretend that you have btl's and Woams in stock. So in our wonderful world of pretend, what would your price be? See, in some ways we don't work much different than CF. You can't expect folks to throw around some numbers so you can get an idea of how high you can price them to sell here. They don't do it at CF, and we don't do that here either. By the way, that's a nice most recent trader comment over there, care to explain that?

I don't sell either of the cigars online unless someone is willing to pay for the rarity. When I have BTL/WOAM's or any of the other rare Fuente's available they are in the casino shops for my customers that shop there. PROFIT is not a four letter word it is what a retailer needs in order to survive, especially when paying rent to the casino. When and if Fuente ships any this year i will try and make them available to the members of the cigar board.
The last trader comment at CF that you refer to is for a trade that never took place, a comment I never knew existed, because the other party involved requested a cigar that I thought I had a source for only to find out the cigar had been discontinued. The fact that he chose to leave the trader comment is a minor annoyance to me but if you want to do more research as to my reliability I use the same name on Ebay for buying and selling, so use that as a guideline.
I was not trying to dodge the question as to how much for any cigar that I sell, I stated the company's policy regarding price matching.
:D

Fixed it for ya. Is it not Fuente's policy to have their account holders sell at MSRP?

Apparently you have never been to the Casa Fuente shop in Caesar's palace Las vegas.

I'm sure rent at your casino rivals that of Caesar's Palace.

Moreover, unless you are the manufacturer of a cigar who has decided to open a B&M in a casino, your point is moot.

We all make decisions in life. Your decision to have a B&M in a high-priced casino was just that...your decision. That's fine. But please don't expect to come here and peddle your lesser cigars while allowing your casino clientele access to your finer and rarer sticks just because of the extra money you stand to make.

It's my guess that this would be somewhat frowned upon here.

Oh, well, actually, I have. The point is, I am NOT RIGHT NOW!!!!
ANyway, Gougy McGougalot, I hope everything goes great for your from here on out.

My god, Josh. You need to hit the standup circuit. :p

Wilkey,
That's the second time I've heard that in two days.
Maybe you guys are on to something. I love how people think I'm funny, when really, I'm just being an asshole. Who knew that was so marketable.
