Mini Herf at Schlesingers Cigar Bar

Gentlemen -- my plans and wires got crossed a bit and I lost track of my calendar. I have tickets today for Round 1, Game 1 NJ Devils vs. NY Rangers out at the Meadowlands.

I apologize and I am sorry I won't be able to make this.

Have a great time everyone.

Eric

Tell them you have an appointment...I'm sure they'll change the schedule due to a Herf! :D

Have a good time, gentlemen! I hope to see some nice pictures and ash-standing too. :D

Wilkey

Great time! Great Herf!

Tom, ash was still standing when I left  It went from being spiked with Viagra to Cialis :whistling:

Oh and Rob was up to his seven smoke of the day (and counting)---what a miracle a couple of hot wings can do to the nicotine buzz

SLR A in honor of Bill smoked fantastic. Boli PC was smooth and put me in the zone

Thank you to all who generously traded and gifted. You know who you are

Most importantly, the company while a lot smaller than the Quad State herf was very much engaging, informative and lotsa laugh

Looking forward for the next one. Hopefully, Bill, Tommy and Jeff can make it to the next one among others :)

Goodnight, if you don't hear from me for the next few days, it means I am buried with honey do list to get back in the good graces of the wife :0

Awesome time!
Smoked 8 cigars today!

Check out Wilkey's ash stand contest for our attempts at his contest!

edited to say: I only smoked six stogies... Felt like more!

It was great to meet up with Rob, Steve, Tom and Lou again and I finally met Gary (Grateful1), Jim (JimD) and and the fine gentlemen that I seem to forgotten his name. As I was walking out, Smokelaw1 was just comin' in, hopefully we get to herf together at the next event. I had a great time and as usual, the trading / gifting of super ceegars was outstanding. Thanks a lot fellas and I will definitely enjoy the fine smokes that I received. Great pics you posted Rob and I can't wait to see Tom's and the comments of his winning ash standing ceegar.......... :D

Contest to follow!!!!

I had a GREAT time and very much appreciate the generosity of all the BOTLs that were there. I have Otter Box envy BIG TIME. I'm gonna have to do something about this problem. I hope that we have some pics of Tom's herf box. He can legitimately say "my box is bigger than your box"

It was great to meet Steve, Joe, Josh, Gary, Jim, Allan and to see Tom, Charlie, and Rob again.

I hope that all got home ok. My trip was a beeetch. The friggin rain was a torrent.

When are we doing this again?

As you wish, Louie. I had a great idea. I used a quarter to get a sense of scale. Real innovation on my part, I think :)

This was a case I had for water base paints and I was going to toss it one day while cleaning out stuff. I tried to open it and it wouldn't open. Then I noted a familiar looking knob...a purge valve! I have said at herfs that it is really only a kind of joke, but one bro asked, "Is it full of cigars?" Yes. "Then it's not a joke"

Wow, looks like a great time had by all. I wish I could have made it.

For one thing, it looks like Steve finally had enough cigars at a HERF. How many was it Steve?

Don't listen to Tom. That otterbox was for his snipers rirle, when he was a hitman!~ :p

Rob,

Great pictures, bro! I hope the Tat Uni was ok for you.

Steve,
LMAO! My god man, that is the closest thing I've ever seen to a 100% ashed cigar. Your lips must be made of asbestos...but let's not go there. :D

Tom,
Where the heck is that "bowing down" emoticon? Now THAT is a traveldor!

Looks like you guys had a genuine blast.

Wilkey

Sonofabitch :(

I wish I could have made it.....

I actually have met EVERY SINGLE attendee at that herf at least once including Josh, Jim and Gary.

Great time guys! Nice meeting Josh, LouD, Gary, Tim? annd good hanging seeing Tom, Charlie, and Joe and everyone again. Your generosity is unmatched. You guys are are genuine BOTLS. :D

Yeah, Jeff, Bill, Wilkey, Tommy.. too bad you couldn't make it... helluva time! Hopefully next time.

That ash was scorching my lips! Rob was getting some excellent shots. Every puff or two towards thend, I would would have to jerk my head back fromthe pain  . I was trying to get a interesting entry for the ash stand contest.... the least tobacco left, I guess. Then the result was me being incapacitated for a good while... as you can see from the pics. There was no faking there... my body was going into nicotine shock. I have felt that bad since my first cigar ever or the first time I tried chewing tobacco. :( :p

Anyway, I was a great time and great company. Hope to do it again soon.

I think the problem is your smoking style, Steve. I didn't want to say anything but it seems hard to get the full flavor using your method.

Welllll, not EVERY single one, unless I was passed out in the corner at the last herf, which I suppose is a distinct possibility since I don't remember it   . I keeping hoping for a Bill sighting, but no luck as yet.
