The techies posted earlier about what they do..so I figured I inquire as to what the rest of the CP group does.

I myself was medically retired resulting from a plane crash from the Navy as an LT. Now I investigate fatal & catastrophic injury accidents & reconstruction of the events related to the accident.

Yup...been in 1 plane crash (Military), broken ribs, arm, shoulder, head injury which resulted in seizures (reason for retirement) & 1 emergency landing with blown tires on rt landing gear (Commerical).

Still alive and kicking...:)

If you don't mind, what aircraft were you flying when you crashed? I've seen 4 crashes, 3 Harrier Jump jets and one A6, only one got out alive.

I was in the EA-6B Prowler it like the A-6 Intruder is not the most aerodynamic platform, the thrust from the engines is essentially what keeps it in the air.

A-6 was not supposed to be in service post Vietnam, but Grumman had built an aircraft that could come back with holes in it and still fly. It was designed as a disposable aircraft load go, rinse and repeat until it could no longer function.

The harrier is like balancing on a pin head, they loose more pilots in training than anyother platform. I have the upmost respect for the Marines that fly that beast.

Where you also in aviation or crash & salvage?

I spent a decade or so attached to Marine Air units, including an EA-6A (later B) squadron. The Harriers I saw crash at Cherry Point and Iwakuni, the A-6 at Whidbey Island.

My ass keeps the computer chair warm. Boring sometimes, but it pays well.

I worked for W.W. Grainger for 20 years, started in the warehouse. When the guy who hired me saw me take 40 and 50 gal water heaters off the truck without a hand truck, he knew he hired the right guy.

Worked my way up to product specialist, thats why I posted so much in the ventillation and automatic venting coolidor threads; I love to problem solve.

Now on disability.

Some of those sample pics on your web site are so cool. I have seen that sort of thing on the fix it, home improvement shows.

I'm one of few people who get called when the really big **** hits the fan. Financial PR Manager for a very large telecomm. company. AKA: Damage Control Specialist.

Seacrest out!

Store Director with a very large consumer electronics company that boasts the initials C.C. :) My fifteenth year with them. Gregor

Boring, Glass eyed, banker. Ex CPA

Full Time FedEx Courier and I raise American Pit Bull Terriers for Show.

I'm a teacher and a Football coach. 4th year now. I was in the Hazardous Waste Business before. Consultant.......my own shingle for 8 years.

Before that I sold Toyotas.

Teaching is the best thing I have ever done.........or will do for that matter (except maybe drawing a full salary for coaching football). But, it's the least amount of money. I'm 33 making $50K + bennies, I made more money when I was 20 ($70K+). But, I married a great woman and she managed the money well when it was rollin' in. We can both retire when we're 40 if we wanted........But, I'm going to wait till I'm 50.

I am interested in opening a cigar shop. I live in Moreno Valley, CA (165K+ people) and besides those ****hole cigarette shops, there is no place to buy, let alone smoke, cigars in town.
