The "You Learn Something New Every Day Pass"

AKA the So Swissy Stops Bitching Like A Little Girl Pass
The what?
The first theme of this pass is learning something new. I am big on
learning about (and how to do) new things. Each participant in this
pass, at the time of their P/T, will teach us about something we may or
may not already know. For example, the lesson might be it in the form of teaching us a skill, a
recipe, a rule of etiquette or grammar :whistling: , or even just a story that gives us
uhm... insight into who they are and what they are all about.
The second theme of this pass is Swissy gets to pick where he wants to
go in the pass order. Why, you ask? Because he almost always gets
stuck going first and consequently bitches about how unfair it is being cursed by his desire to frolick amongst the moose. Well not this time! There will be no discrimination against our frozen Alaskan brother! After Jim picks his spot I will determine the rest of the pass order =)
The Poker bag:
In addition to contests throughout the pass I am going to throw a bag in
to collect for a poker payout. Only toss a stick in if you want to
play. When the pass is done we will set up a tourney via the CP poker
software and those who elect to participate will play until the last man
standing, who will win the full contents of the poker bag.
Rules:
1) No limits on puts/takes but try to to stay within reason.
2) Rarity for rarity, value for value. I am flexible on C for NC and
vice versa (again within reason)
3) BEFORE YOU SHIP TO THE NEXT PLAYER PM THEM AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE
READY AND YOU HAVE THE CORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION!
4) Use the other players as a sounding board if you aren't sure on a P/T.
5) I anticipate no problems with this group so I am not going to stress
about P/T approval. I will retain veto privileges if something extreme
and bizarre happens but I expect the pass participants should be able to
iron out any issues without much hassle.
6) Please check the humidity and temp of the pass when it gets to you.
