Hard one isn't it? Since they have made so many good movies over the years. My vote goes to Miller's Crossing.

And as far as the new "True Grit" movie, I plan on waiting for the DVD release.

The orginal John Wayne version is the stuff of legends, I for one, still think "Big Jake" is the better movie.

Hard choice for me, between: Fargo, The Big Lebowski and O Brother where art thou.

I'd have to say Raising Arizona or The Hudsucker Proxy. I seem to be one of the very few that really likes Hudsucker.

I won't go see True Grit. I don't really go to many movies at the theater anymore. There are too many douchebags that act like they're watching in their living room. Oddly enough as a self-professed movie fiend as a yute, I don't really miss it.

Tie between "Fargo" and "No Country for Old Men" for me. Both just absolutely brilliant and such great casting.

I usually wait for the DVD release on movies unless they're some kind of special effects extravaganza that just SCREAMS to be seen on the big screen. I have a fairly decent flat screen/surround sound system at home and a Netflix account.

Will definitely put True Grit in my Queue at Netflix, though. Jeff Bridges was incredible in Crazy Heart and I think he'll do Rooster Cogburn justice.

I'd put Hudsucker Proxy (great movie, way underrated) at #3 for me behind O Brother and Raising Arizona.

O Brother Where Art Thou

"A woman is the most fiendish instrument of torture ever devised to bedevil the days of man. "

Hmmm tough to pick one, but if I have to it will always be Big Lebowski (top 5 for me in all movies) ....followed closely by Fargo, and O Brother. I will more then likely wait and see True Grit when it has home release.

I have not seen them all, but The Big Lebowski is one of my all time favs.

I love Sasha Baron!

Oh wait, that's Cohen.

I like O Brother personally. Burn after reading was OK.

Their first movie Blood Simple to me sticks out big time...as does No Country...

Raising Arizona and Fargo are my two top picks. As far as True Grit goes, tough to beat the Duke, I'll wait for DVD.

I've got to agree with those that went with "No Country for Old Men". As far as "True Grit" goes, I plan on going with a group of guys I work with. From what I've read it's not necessarily a remake. It's more of a re-adaptation of the original novel. It will focus more on the story of the girl than it does on the Cogburn character.

I haven't yet seen Blood Simple. Time to go track it down on Netflix.

I'm ashamed to admit I haven't seen The Big Lebowski. Which is odd, because I love stuff like that.

Brother where art thou? and No Country for Old Men were my favorites. I won't go see True Grit, but wait for DVD.
